Hi! I'm Christina, labour & birth and postpartum doula.
Hello! My name is Christina, I have an amazing husband who has gifted me an exciting life long partnership and two wonderful, beautiful daughters.
I love everything pregnancy and birth related. Even before having my own children I knew I wanted to be in this field. The human body is capable of some very amazing and miraculous things, it's ability to create and birth a baby has always been a passion and interest of mine. I pursued my passion and completed my Bachelor of Science with a major in Physiology. I am certified as both a Labour & Birth and a Postpartum Doula through Doula Training Canada. I love this field because I am continuously learning because no birthing person, family dynamic, pregnancy, birth or baby is the same.
After the birth of my second daughter, I recognized a serious need for a constant support system that spanned across pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum. I also recognized the immense differences from one pregnancy to another. My first pregnancy was smooth sailing and perfect, my second pregnancy, not so much.
I want to help guide and educate the birthing person and their partner through the beginning of the journey we know as parenthood. Your journey doesn't end 6 weeks after the baby is born, it is only just the beginning. I want to help guide and support you through what can be an otherwise overwhelming experience.
I have experience supporting all kinds of birth; from home births to medicated hospital births and everything in between.
